DESCRIPTION

Jordan is a relatively small Arab country. Tourism is one of the column industries in Jordan. Attractions such as the ancient city of Petra, the Dead Sea and the Wadi Rum Desert have become the preferred destinations for adventure travel and leisure vacations for tourists from all over the world. Amman is an important business centre, financial centre and transport hub in Jordan.

In August 2012, We cooperated with a local upscale outdoor restaurant in Jordan, and built an outdoor arc fabric tensile structure for restaurant. The project uses reinforced concrete combined with tensile fabric structure. The roof is constructed with a large span truss. The sleek shape, large span and smooth lines are the biggest features of the project. The steel truss is used as a support and the truss has a diameters of 255 mm (Q235). The curved bending of the truss is controlled by numerical control, and the arc machining of the steel tube ensures a smooth transition between the curved portion and the end.

The project features a tensile fabric structure that functions as a fine dining restaurant and bar. The columns arrayed in a circle define a dramatic central bar with a arc counter. At night the tensile fabric is lit by color changing LED lights. Tempered glass walls and canopies and pipe framing are integrated in form around the structure to complement the concept.

In addition, the membrane is PVDF double-layer material, which has the advantages of heat insulation in summer and warmth in winter. The basis of the project is the use of artificial excavation piles. The steel structure and the membrane are processed simultaneously. Steel structure and membrane positioning accuracy is very high. INSTALLATION


       Step 1: Design

       BDiR use the latest tensile structural design software to produce
       detailed tensile structural designs.


       Including:
       BIM model design (building information modeling), 
       finding and load analysis,  integrated building design,
       joint force analysis, membrane cutting analysis,
       construction process simulation, numerical wind tunnel simulation.
    Step 2: Membrane Fabrication

    Membrane fabrication plays an important role in the tensile structure.

    There are many fabrics (PVC, PVDF, PTFE, ETFE) in the market, they come from all over the world, they have different characteristics and prices, different welding or joining techniques. We will make the best choices from structural design, project location and our customer budget.


      Step 3. Steel Fabrication

      Tensile structure are made of steel structural members that are welded
      and painted in our factory.


      We will conduct the following procedures with high standards:
      Paint thickness detection, ultrasonic testing,
      magnetic particle testing,
    high-strength bolt torque testing,
      cable pre-tensioning, rust removal ,

      pre-assembly inspection, painting, etc.

    Step 4: Cable Fabrication

    Cable and hardware fittings are procured from the most reliable and certified vendors of the industry in compliance with the international quality standards.
